The Lycée has made the decision to cancel Gala 2020. It is unlikely that New York City will lift its ban on large events by the end of the current school year, and the health and safety of our community remains our highest priority.

We would like to thank all of our sponsors and supporters for their very generous contributions to the Gala and the Lycée. We hope to celebrate with you in the future.

About
The Lycée Français de New York is pleased to announce its 21st Annual Gala, honoring Tory Burch with the Charles de Ferry de Fontnouvelle Award.
Past Lycée Français de New York Galas have brought together more than 1,000 guests and have raised over $2.2 million in a single evening. Funds raised at the Gala directly benefit Lycée students in the form of scholarships and support for the school’s academic and co-curricular programming. Past honorees have included Gad Elmaleh, Sidney Toledano, Jean Paul Gaultier, Thierry Henry, Angélique Kidjo, and Hamdi Ulukaya. Proceeds support our efforts to make our extraordinary educational program available to students in need through scholarships and enhance academic and cultural initiatives at the school.
The Lycée Français de New York is a non-profit, independent school founded in 1935 that welcomes more than 1,350 students, representing more than 60 nationalities, from nursery school through 12th grade. The school’s unique program combines French and American educational principles in a bilingual, culturally immersive curriculum that inspires students to be thinkers, innovators and leaders, at home in the world.
